11 months old

On Friday, September 17 I turned 11 months old! 4 days before my 11 month birthday I started walking! It is sooo much fun!

On Sunday Mommy, Bama and Aunt Sue took me to the park where I played on the swings and on the big playscape. I cannot wait until I get bigger and can climb and slide down the slide.

Well, today I decided to take the plunge and walk!!! And I am not just talking about 3 tiny steps, oh no, no. I took MANY steps and daddy got it all on video. And seriously....look at me navigate around that pillow (who put that there anyways???) I'm thinking by this weekend I am going to ditch that crawling thing (it's for babies anyways), and just walk, cause it's for big girls and I am a big girl now! On Friday I will be 11 months old, which means my big birthday is around the corner. EEEEEKKKKKKK! I cannot wait!

Labor Day Weekend 2010

Labor Day weekend was full of fun! On Saturday we went to Pontiac Lake Rec Area to visit mommy and daddy's friends, Aunt Dawn, Aunt Kathy, Monica & Kevin, Niki & Marc (with their doggie Kendell) and Frank. We bbq'd dinner and sat around a bonfire--my first! It was lots of fun!!! On Monday, after lunch at Bama's, we took a walk to the park in Bama's neighborhood where I rode the Merry-Go-Round and the swings for the first time. I LOVED it!!! I wonder if I can get mommy and daddy to get me some swings for our yard!!!???? I hope you had a nice holiday weekend too! Here are some pictures from my first Labor Day....
