9 months old!!!!

Today I am 9 months old!!! Here are the things I am now doing:

*wave hello and bye bye or just wave cause it's fun

*clap-I even do it for the song "If you're happy and you know it..." only if I am in the mood though

*crawling even faster then before

*pulling myself up on furniture faster then before

*climbing onto and standing on my chair in the family room-mommy and daddy are not amused by this

*starting to walk along the furniture

*letting go and standing by myself for a few seconds

*squeak and squeal and laugh and laugh when I make all this noise

*chasing and fighting with Paisley (I pull her tail or her fur)-she fights back and
I laugh (again, mommy and daddy are not amused)

*I have tried and liked eating chicken, pork chop, turkey, corn and potatoes

*saying "kit kat"

*saying "momma"

*saying "da da" and sometimes "daddy"

*giving hugs and kisses-sloppy, open mouth kisses. Ha-ha.

On Tuesday I go for my 9 month appointment at the doctor. Check back for my stats!

First time in the puffer fish pool!

Mommy bought me a pool!!! I wasn't very happy in it at first, but once I started to splish splah I started to like it. Hopefully the water will warm up just a little bit with all this hot weather we've been having!!!!

Just call me Gilligan!!!

On Saturday, July 3rd Aunt Kathy and Aunt Dawn invited us to Pontiac Lake to go out on a pontoon. I've never been on a boat, but let me tell ya....I had the best time!!! The weather was perfect and I loved having the wind in my hair! I hope we can do that again soon. I wonder if I can talk grandma and grandpa into getting a boat for the house up north. Hmmm... I am going to have to work on that one!

I turned 8 months old this week! I sure am a busy girl. I am crawling around very fast and I pull myself up on just about anything: couch, table, crib, mommy/daddy. Grandpa bought me a ball and mommy and I were playing with it and I was laughing and laughing! Here's the video that mommy got!!!!

After getting that crawling thing down a few weeks ago I have decided to move on to bigger and better things. On Monday, after coming home from a wonderful weekend up north, I decided to really show off and pull myself up into a standing position! Here are a few pictures that grandma took of me this week.

7 months and crawling!!!

Yes, people, it's true. I.AM.CRAWLING. I've been getting up on all fours and threatening to move for a few weeks now and a few days ago I decided it was time for me to make my move. Crawling is so much fun. I see what I want and I just go get it! I love to see the looks on mommy and daddy's faces when I go.....they have no idea where I am going or what I am going to get in to. Talk about FUN! Tee hee!!!
